History and Trash
Every version, kept
Culma remembers how every note looked over time. Nothing you write is ever silently lost.
Open Version history in the right-hand pane to see a note's past versions. Click one to preview it, and restore it if you want it back. Folders have a history too, which is handy when you're wondering where a note went. Whiteboards and documents keep their history as well, mark by mark.
Try it: Change a sentence on this page, then open Version history. You'll find the original right there.
The trash
Move to trash in the right-hand pane, or in the right-click menu, takes a note out of the way. Nothing is deleted straight away.
To get it back, open Trash from the vault menu at the bottom left and click Restore.
How much history to keep
Old history can add up over the years. Under Vault properties, you can let a device keep only recent history on hand. Older versions stay safely stored online and are fetched again when you open them.
Checking a vault
If something ever looks wrong, Vault properties → Integrity → Check this vault looks over the vault and names anything it finds in plain words, with a repair offered where one is safe.
